Introduction to Beekeeping - Workshop!
Get ready for Spring with our Fall Workshop!!
The workshop will last approximately 3 hours. We will have a class inside, then we will get suited up and do a hive inspection. We will identify worker bees, drones, the queen - if we're lucky, capped honey, capped brood, pollen, eggs and larva. This class is not for general curiosity about bees, it is absolutely geared for those looking to start the amazing beekeeping hobby.
• Class is $85 per person
• Protection is provided to attend this class. No stings on our watch! :)
• There is a 5-person minimum requirement. If the minimum is not met, class will be cancelled, and a refund will be provided. *Please note: Due to size limitations, your registration cannot be moved to another date. *
• If the weather is not cooperating, we will move your registration to another date.
*Minimum Age Limit is 12*
Please wear boots or high socks with tennis shoes. We don't want any love bites on your ankles! *
Upon completion of the workshop, you will receive a free online First Year Beekeeping class.
Bees will bee available to order at this workshop, with a pickup date of April/May.
