Introduction to Beekeeping - Workshop!
The workshop will last approximately 3 hours. We will have a class inside, then we will get suited up and do a hive inspection. We will identify worker bees, drones, the queen - if we're lucky, capped honey, capped brood, pollen, eggs and larva. This class is not for general curiosity about bees, it is absolutely geared for those looking to start the amazing beekeeping hobby.
• Class is $85 per person
• Protection is provided to attend this class. No stings on our watch! :)
• There is a 5 person minimum requirement. If the minimum is not met, class will be cancelled and a refund will be provided. *Please note: Due to size limitations, your registration cannot be moved to another date.*
• If the weather is not cooperating, we will move your registration to another date.
Please wear boots or high socks with tennis shoes. We don't want any love bites on your ankles!*
Upon completion of the workshop, you will receive a free online First Year Beekeeping class.
Bees will bee available to order at this workshop, with a pickup date of April/May.
